COVID-19 Response

               October 4, 2020

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The safety of those attending our services is a priority for our church and leadership. We invite our community to join us for Sunday school and our worship service on Sunday mornings. Sunday school begins at 9am; the worship service is at 10am. We believe we can offer these opportunities to worship and grow safely with the following safety protocols.

Here are a few guidelines we have established to reduce our risk exposure:

If you have an elevated risk of severe complications from COVID-19 (over the age 60, a compromised immune system, or other underlying health condition), please consider carefully your participation. We would love to worship with you, but we understand that not everyone is able to gather with us at this time due to increased risk factors.

If you do not feel well on a Sunday morning, we would ask that you stay home. Please do not risk exposing others in our congregation and the community to an illness. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and/or loss of taste or smell, please refrain from attending Sunday school or the worship service and call Pastor Tim for prayer.

We ask everyone to practice social distancing. Family units may sit together, but each family unit and individuals must sit at least 6 feet apart. Attempts should be made to maintain a 6-foot separation from others. Please sit in the designated pews or the chairs in the back.

We discourage handshaking, hugging or other physical contact with anyone outside the family unit.

We recommend wearing face coverings.

The nursery will be closed.

The youth room will be closed.

We will not be passing an offering plate during our service. An offering box will be placed in the back should a member wish to give at the service.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances/exits and at various places in the sanctuary. Use of hand sanitizer is strongly encouraged.

We will be working diligently to clean and sanitize our building on an ongoing basis. Your safety and the safety of our community is our priority.

Questions can be forwarded to Pastor Tim by phone, text, email or through the homepage of our website.

We are very excited to see you on Sunday. Until then, take care!

Pastor Tim
